Tuesdays at Bluffs are a time to come together and discuss life and faith in a safe space. This fall we will be discussing The Good and Beautiful God: Falling in love with the God Jesus Knows by James Bryan Smith.
Missions Month
October is Missions Month at Bluffs. We’ll be hosting global workers, a chili cook-off, and talking about ways we can partner in God’s work around the world and in our community.
Men's Chili Cookoff
October is missions month at Bluffs and nothing says “missions” better a good ol’ chili cookoff! The Chili lunch will be immediately after service and is a chance to enjoy a fun meal while contributing to kingdom work around the world. Give what you can and all donations will go to missions.
Worship and Prayer Night
Join us for an evening of worship and prayer. There will be times to pray with and for each other as well as extended worship.
Ladies Craft Day!
This is a fun, BYOC (Bring your own craft) event. Have a project you’re working on? Bring it! Have some supplies? Bring ‘em!
World Kickball Classic
It’s time for the annual Bluffs College Students vs. Bluffs Young Adults Kickball Classic. First pitch is at 1:00. See Pastor Michele or Pastor Jake for details.

Bluffs at Riverfest-Let's love on our city!
Riverfest is one of the biggest yearly events in La Crosse. We are excited to be back, providing a free activity for kids (and parents) who need a little break in the shade. This is a fun opportunity to hang out with some friends from Bluffs and serve our community. Also, we’re right next to the mini-donuts :)
Serve Sunday
A couple times a year we take service outside the walls of the church and to the city. The Hunger Task Force provides food resources to over 120 meal sites in La Crosse. It’s a vital service and we’re honored to partner and help. Come ready to work!
Loggers Game
Like baseball and/or hot dogs? This may be your night! Join us for a night of local baseball and while you’re at it, a portion of your ticket price will go to supporting The Good Fight, a local program for kids who can use a little extra help. It’s a win/win!
Women's Backyard Book Club & Bible Study
Summer’s here and it’s time for the Tuesday night women’s backyard book club and Bible study! It’s a time to gather outside, enjoy the weather and the company of women who want to talk and learn from each other. Ask Pastor Michele for details.

Bluffs Grill Out and World Cornhole Classic
Summer is here and we are celebrating with our annual grill out and Cornhole tournament. We’ll provide the meat and drinks and you bring the sides! Arrive anytime after 4:30, but dinner starts at 5!
The Meating
The Meating is the annual gathering of Bluffs men where-in we gather, eat meat, and play for the title of Cornhole World Champion! You bring the sides and beverages, Pastor Jake provides the hotdogs, brats, and burgers.
Horseback Riding at Woodside Ranch
Warm weather and horseback riding go hand in hand. 🙂

Honest to God
Honest to God: What we can learn from the Psalms about talking to God?
The Psalms are an ancient songbook. They are the songs Jesus sang, and they were on his lips as he was crucified. They were the songs of the early church. But they can be complicated, sometimes beautiful and moving, sometimes tragic and troubling. In this new series we will look at what the Psalms can teach us about prayer and worship that is Honest to God.
Easter at Bluffs
It’s all about Easter! Jesus died and rose again. History and personal testimony attest to this truth. And Jesus invites us all to join him in a new life, a better way to live. Jesus is a different kind of king. He is the king who shares his power and glory with all who are weary and heavy-laden. People like you and me.
Good Friday at Bluffs
All are welcome to join us for our Good Friday service. This year will be modified version of the Stations of the Cross, a time honored means of reflecting on the last days and moments of Jesus’ life leading to the crucifixion. This is a solemn time and the service is meant to help us pause, remember, and reflect on the death of the One who came to save us all.
Bunch for Lunch
What is Bunch for Lunch you ask? Good question! It’s just a time to have lunch with someone from Bluffs. Meeting people can be difficult so this is just simple, and short, way to get to know a little more about another person in our community.

Tuesdays at Bluffs
This is the beginning of our normal, Tuesdays at Bluffs, schedule with separate Bible studies for men and women. Don’t worry if you feel like you have a lot to learn about the Bible. We all do and these nights are a great time to ask questions and learn from each other.

Each February we dedicate Sunday messages to focusing on relationships. We are made for relationship and community, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be hard or confusing. Let’s talk about it.

Serve Sunday
3-4 times per year we take the church out of the building and into the community, just to serve. The Rotary Lights display is an important and beautiful part of Christmas in La Crosse-but it takes a lot of work from many hands! On January 4th we will downtown at Riverside Park helping take down the lights and cleaning up, basically doing whatever we can to help. Talk to Pastor Michele about signing up for a shift.
Christmas at Bluffs
Christmas at Bluffs is a time to remember and reflect on the Christmas story-God coming to earth. Join us for a time of singing Christmas songs and hearing the best story ever told.
