What are your weekend services like?
We offer three worship services at Heritage: Awakening Service @ 8:05, Traditional Service @ 9:30, and Contemporary service @ 11:00.
Our Awakening service offers a contemporary worship with a full praise team.
Our Traditional service features a choir, traditional hymns accompanied by piano, the use of historic creeds and responsive readings.
Our Contemporary service features a full praise team, high energy praise and worship.
All three of our services include the same Bible –based message.
What will happen when I visit the first time?
If you are a guest, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out a church for a period of time.
What do I wear to attend your services?
The dress for the Traditional Service is business casual. Dresses, slacks, and collared shirts are very appropriate. The dress for our Awakening Service and our Contemporary Service is very relaxed and laid back. Blue jeans and shirts are found to be the norm. We are much more concerned with your heart than what you wear.
What about my children?
At Heritage, your children are top priority. Our facility is clean, safe, and staffed with loving volunteers. We offer an excellent nursery and pre-school classes for every service time. We also offer a children’s church for our elementary age students.
Where do I park?
We have two large parking lots on the east and west side of our church building. Both areas have visitor and handicap parking spots. If you have small children and will utilizing our nursery services, we encourage you to park on the east side of the campus for easier access to the children’s wing. The entrance on the east side of the building is a level entrance and is wheelchair accessible.
Will there be someone to help me find my way around?
Absolutely! There will be friendly faces to greet you at each entrance of the church, and once you enter the church make your way to our welcome stations and our wonderful host will be more than willing to answer any questions you may have concerning the location areas within our church.
Can I get a cup of coffee?
Our Fellowship Hall is a gathering spot for fellowship and food. We provide a lite continental breakfast with coffee, juice, and milk. We invite you to come early and take part of the fun. It is a great place to meet folks at Heritage.
Is there an altar call?
Each service ends with a response time at the altar which can be used for private prayer or you can request prayer with one of our trained prayer ministers. All services are equipped with full altar ministry teams.
What if I would like more information?
During each service you are provided with a connection card that you can find inside your bulleting. We ask that you complete the card with your basic contact information. There are also boxes that you can check on the card, letting us know if you desire more information or to be contacted by someone on the church staff. Please complete the card and drop it in the offering plate, place it on the altar, or give it to one of our ushers. Completion of this card will automatically sign you up for our weekly newsletter which will keep you up-to-date on the happenings at Heritage.
